The Nominating Committee of the PTA is accepting nominations for Garden City Middle School director for the 2012-2013 school year.

A few of the responsibilities of the director include:

    •    Communicate with parents and administration regarding middle school developments
    •    Put together a PTA board and work with them to make sure all PTA run events go smoothly
    •    Help organize class parties
    •    Attend monthly executive meetings
    •    Attend bi-monthly superintendent meetings
    •    Plan the agenda and organize 4 daytime PTA meetings and 1 evening PTA meeting
    •    Meet with the middle school principal on a monthly basis to gather information and updates about the middle school
    •   Participate in planning meetings to develop district calendar
