Members of the Garden City Middle School Fine Arts Department were presented with an award plaque from the New York State Art Teacher's Association (NYSATA) for the second consecutive year.

The award-winning art teachers are Joseph Wilkonski, Lori Rousku and Dennis Fediw. The NYSATA distinction honors the teachers for their outstanding achievements in the visual arts at the middle school level for the 2009-2010 school year. 

"We are excited to share this tremendous honor with the community," says Rousku, "and appreciate all of the continuous support that makes it all possible!"
