The Edelmans Take the Polar Bear Plunge for Charity
Garden City residents among thousands that flocked the shores of Long Beach Super Bowl Sunday.
Garden City residents Howard Edelman, of Edelman Business Systems, and family Margie, Lily and Rose Edelman took the plunge into the icy 42-degree waters of the Atlantic Super Bowl Sunday all in the name of charity.
They were among several thousand visitors of all ages that flocked to the shores of Long Beach Feb. 5 to take part in the 13th annual Polar Bears Super Bowl Splash to benefit Make-A-Wish Foundation of Metro NY.
Thanks to the generosity of members of the Garden City Jewish Center, the Edelmans submitted more than $450 in donations.
