Garden expert Oscar Milena, from Milena Garden Center, will be the featured speaker at the Estates POA's Wednesday Sept. 12 meeting being held at Stratford School's cafeteria at 8 p.m.
Mr. Milena will address a wide variety of garden/lawn issues ranging from fall yard prep to what happened to this year's impatient flowers. He will also take questions from the audience about what are the best shrubs to plant around one's home given Long Island's soil and climate conditions. Mr. Milena will also discuss the ongoing problem and treatment for grubs and lawn fungus.
