St. Joe's Student Wins 'There Ought to be a Law' Contest

Daniel Shea, a student at St. Joseph’s School in Garden City, was recently awarded first place in Sen. Kemp Hannon’s 2011 “There Ought to Be a Law” competition.

At Levittown Hall in Hicksville, the first place winners from each school were presented with an award by Sen. Hannon.

Shea’s proposed law reads as follows: “If one student has been caught cyber-bullying another student more than once, he or she will be suspended. The third time, he or she will be expelled.”
