EAC Network Joins "Kids Helping Kids"

EAC Network joined Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way, Inc. once again to launch the 10th Annual“Making a Warmth of Difference” winter apparel drive. The official kickoff for the drive took place Wednesday, December 11, 2013 at the picturesque Oheka Castle in Huntington.

EAC Network received winter apparel donations, including brand new coats, hats, scarves, and other cold weather gear for the agency’s children and families. The clothing will be distributed by EAC Network staff throughout Long Island and the New York metro area. “This is a special day for many needy families and children across Long Island,” stated Lance Elder, President and CEO of EAC Network. “EAC Network is very grateful to Bob Eslick, Executive Director of Kids Helping Kids. Without his efforts and those of the community, the “Making a Warmth of Difference” campaign could not work. Their generosity and support should be an inspiration to everyone.”

The “Making a Warmth of Difference” program is based on the concept that kids deserve new winter apparel rather than used, to give children and families in need of something special. Founded in 1997, Kids Helping Kids by Kids Way, Inc. encourages philanthropy in young people under the age of 18. Since 2004, they have delivered over $1,800,000 in branded winter apparel to numerous agencies throughout Long Island.
