Final Call for Theatre Auditions at GC Community Church

"Diamonds in the Rough" is an original musical production written and directed by Garden City residents Brad and Ruby Gustavson.

Auditions are this Wednesday, Dec. 11, and Friday, Dec. 13, for "Diamonds in the Rough," an original musical production written and directed by Garden City residents Brad and Ruby Gustavson.

There are roles for adult men and women, teens and kids, grades 3-8. Auditions will be held at Garden City Community Church. Third through eighth graders audition from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. and teens and adults audition from 8:30 to 9:30 p.m. The show dates are March 28, 29 and 30, 2014 at Garden City Community Church.

The Garden City Community Theatre was founded in 1996 as an opportunity for church and community members to join together (adults, teens and kids) and showcase their theatrical talents in a safe and friendly environment. It also serves as a fundraising effort for the church. All are welcome to attend the performances.

Garden City Community Church is part of the United Church of Christ and is an Open and Affirming congregation. Worship services are Sundays at 8:30 a.m. in the chapel and 10:30 a.m. in the sanctuary, with church school for children and a crib room for infants and toddlers during the latter service.
