Garden City Community Church Advent Breakfast

The Advent Breakfast brought in the Christmas season at Garden City Community Church Dec. 7 as members and friends came together in fellowship over a delicious breakfast.

They enjoyed music performed by the Carol Choir, including the contemporary West Indian-themed "Calypso Carol" by Christopher Walker, an English-American. The Carol Choir also performed during the service following the Advent Breakfast. Both were led by music minister Frank Crosio and Karin Melkonian, his Carol Choir assistant.

Upcoming December events are:

Sunday, Dec. 22 - Church School Christmas Pageant after the 10:30 a.m. service. The Pageant is staged by the Sunday School with adorable “actors” in costume with music.

Tuesday, Dec. 24, Christmas Eve:

  • Family service at 4 p.m.
  • Candlelight Communion Service at 8:30 p.m., with Music Prelude at 8:15 p.m.
  • Candlelight Communion Service at 11 p.m., with Music Prelude at 10:45 p.m.
