Thanksgiving Festivities at CCNS

Children made the meal that included healthy vegetable soup, muffins and fruit salad.

Families and friends recently joined students at the morning and afternoon Thanksgiving Feasts in the Garden City Community Church Nursery School.

The banquet tables in Gardner Hall had beautiful table decorations the children made that were placemats and dried flowers in containers.

A sampling of the placemats said: "I am thankful for..."

“Thanksgiving is one of the nicest holidays at Nursery School. We focus on teaching the children all about love and gratitude, as well as thankfulness for all they have in the world. All the families and friends join together to celebrate this special day with our feast," said Cathie McCullough, director of the Community Nursery School.
