Andy Foundation Continues Breezy Rebuild

Volunteers "thrilled" to be helping a family of six get back to some sense of normalcy.

Work on our Breezy build is progressing quickly. Of course having to use this wagon (pictured) as our only method of getting materials to the house makes it a bit challenging but we're not complaining!

People are beginning to come back to their homes and for some it's just too much. Others try to pick up the pieces - literally. Bulldozers have removed over 100 homes and each day brings new challenges as water mains break, roads dip, sand shifts and mold is discovered but we are thrilled to be helping this family of six get back to some sense of normalcy.

The youngest son (age 3) thanked us last week. When we asked why he was thanking us he replied, "You're fixing my home so I can sleep in my bed again." That says it all.

We're going to Breezy today, will take more photos and share them next week.
