Ash Wednesday Schedule

Ash Wednesday marks the beginning of Lent and is considered a day of fast and abstinence for Catholics.

Residents observing the day can receive ashes during the following times:

St Joseph's Church
7 a.m. Prayer Service
8 a.m. Mass
9 a.m. Mass
12:10 p.m. Mass
4 p.m. Prayer Service
730 p.m. Prayer Service

Church of St. Anne
7:30 a.m. Mass
9 a.m. Mass
12:50 p.m. Mass (Saint Anne's School Mass)
4 p.m. Mass
7 p.m. Mass

Lutheran Church of the Resurrection
4:30 p.m. service
7:30 p.m. service

Garden City Community Church
7 p.m. Soup Dinner
8 p.m. Service

Christ Episcopal Church
Ashes to Go @ Stewart Manor railroad station between 8-10 a.m.
Ashes at the church 10 a.m.
Eucharist with imposition of ashes 12:15 p.m.
Ashes to Go @ Stewart Manor railroad station at 4 p.m.
