1. Thursday's Farmers Market: Thursday's Farmers Market is no longer operating at the corner of Stewart Avenue and Nassau Boulevard due to lack of business. Vendors will return to the site in the winter and run the market indoors.

2. Coliseum Site: County Executive Ed Mangano announced Tuesdsay that he is now looking for privately financed proposals to redevelop the 77-acre site surrounding the current Coliseum. The news comes a day after county residents defeated the Aug. 1 referendum. Read more here.
