Belmont Festival Returning to Garden City
The sixteenth annual community event is June 7.
The 16th annual Belmont Festival in Garden City will return to Seventh Street on Friday evening, June 7 from 6-10 p.m.
Featured will be entertainment, live music and plenty of activities for the youngsters including pony rides and prize games, and as always, great food for all!
Back by popular demand will be young dancers from Garden City’s Broadway Bound Dance Center.
The festival’s five great bands include the Fivestone Rock Band, Jerry & the Newcomers, the New Vintage Orchestra, Nor’easter (formerly Speak Easy) and The Village Music Makers.
Also returning will be the poster contest for young students plus the ever popular Wing-Off competition with local restaurants competing for the best wings. Restaurants interested in participating in the Wing Off should call Tim Peoples at 747-3067.
