Clancy Family Receives Rotary Community Service Award

The family's combined efforts have contributed to the vitality and fabric of Garden City since 1960.

On May 26 at the Garden City home of Maureen and Cummin Clancy in Garden City, the Mineola-Garden City Rotary Club held its 20th annual Community Service Award event – a cocktail buffet to honor the Clancy family, whose combined efforts have contributed to the vitality and fabric of the Village of Garden City since 1960.

The Community Service Award recognizes the spirit of volunteerism.

Throughout their 51 years as Garden City residents, the Clancy family’s volunteer spirit, sustained involvement, leadership and unselfish commitment to the community is well established and has been acknowledged many times over.

Guests enjoyed a fabulous repast provided by Culinary Heights, Kings and the Town Meat Market.
