All Girl Scouts, parents, leaders, volunteers and anyone interested in learning more about the Girl Scouts are welcome to attend the event, which kicks off the new Girl Scout year.

Parents completing a survey will have the chance to win a $250 gift certificate to the Girl Scout Council Shop for their troop; anyone signing up for an adult volunteer position will receive an instant prize.

Enjoy your favorite Girl Scout cookies as well as candy and baked goods made by the scouts themselves who placed first, second and third at the annual bake off. They'll be activities for girls of all ages and information about the numerous scouting opportunities for girls, parents and volunteers. Enrollment information for those not currently in Girl Scouts will also be available.

RSVPs are appreciated but not necessary: contact Laura Graney at thecupcakecorner@verizon.net or 516-857-2098.
