West End Tree Lighting Set for Dec. 3
Western section to usher in holiday season at second annual ceremony.
The Garden City West End tree lighting ceremony will officially usher in the 2011 holiday season Saturday, Dec. 3, from 3:30-5 p.m. in the small park on Plattsdale Road, next to GC Dental Associates, on the south end of New Hyde Park Road.
The event will include music and dancing courtesy of Broadway Bound Dance Center and St. Anne’s Choir, and, of course, an appearance by Santa Claus!
To keep you warm and put you in the holiday mood, there will be complimentary hot cocoa, candy canes and cupcakes provided by The Cupcake Corner.
