GC Men's Association NCAA Fundraiser April 4

NCAA basketball final game party supports the many TMA-sponsored programs at Garden City High School and Middle School.

The Garden City Men’s Association (TMA) will hold its annual NCAA Basketball Final Game party at B.K. Sweeney's Uptown Grille April 4.

All after-cost monies raised will go to TMA, a not-for-profit organization in which all proceeds are donated back into the many athletic, academic and club programs in Garden City High School and Middle School.

The evening starts at 8:30 p.m. with game time scheduled for approximately 9:15 p.m. The cost is $60 per person, which can be paid at the door. This covers an open bar and pass around appetizers. In addition there will be pools and a silent auction featuring sports memorabilia, foursomes of golf, sports tickets and many other items.

Based on the success of last month's wine tasting, and the significant donation to SEPTA, don't miss out on this fun evening with good friends, plenty of food and drink, and even a pretty good basketball game!

For over 70 years, The Men’s Association of Garden City High School has supported the athletic and social activities of students in Garden City schools and promoted good sportsmanship and good citizenship. With the generous support of fellow residents, TMA has been involved in a great number of projects, covering a wide range of interests, over the past several years.

While still primarily involved with the athletic programs at the middle school and high school, in recent years TMA has expanded its support and sponsorship to other programs benefiting a wider range of students in Garden City schools. Some of those programs are SEPTA, the Jamie and Paige Malone Foundation, the Garden City High School Marching Band and the Father-Daughter and Mother-Son dances. This sponsorship is not possible without the continued support of fellow residents.
