1. Golden Goose Gala/Candlelight House Tour: Twigs of Winthrop-University Hospital’s Women’s Auxiliary is holding its 37th annual Golden Goose Gala event beginning at 10 a.m. at the Garden City Casino. The holiday shopping boutique returns with must-have items for gift-giving, home decorating and personal enjoyment. Click here for more information. The Candlelight House Tour begins at 4 p.m. and ends at 7 p.m. At its conclusion Twigs invites participants to return to the Garden City Casino to drop off your house tour ticket for a free raffle drawing.

2. Holiday Boutique: A holiday boutique will be held at Complete Women's Imaging, P.C., located at 990 Stewart Avenue, Suite 100, between 6:30 and 9:30 p.m. Lia Sophia, Arbonne, Mary Kay Cosmetics, Pampered Chef, Scentsy and more. Refreshments will be served. Call 222-4863 for more information.

3. Sneak Peak Fundraiser Performance: The Long Island Dance Project is having an in house fund raiser dance performance at the Unitarian Universalist Church Saturday beginning at 8 p.m. Doors open at 7 p.m. for wine and light hors d'oeuvres. Raffle tickets will be available for purchase. Tickets to the performance are $15. Click here for more information.

4. Western Property Owners Association Meeting: The Western Property Owners' Association's next general meeting will be held Sunday from 3-5 p.m. at the Garden City Public Library. This Sunday afternoon meeting is a change from the WPOA's regularly scheduled weekday meeting to enable more parents of school-aged children and senior citizens to attend.

5. Music for a Royal Occasion: In celebration of this year's Royal Wedding, the combined Cathedral Choirs will present a program of music fit for royal occasions on Sunday beginning at 4 p.m. at the Cathedral of The Incarnation. Click here for more information.
