Question of the Day: What Would You Like to See More of on Garden City Patch?

Though we work hard to bring you an array of news affecting your hometown, perhaps we're missing something?

Garden City Patch's dedicated team of writers and editors works hard to bring you an array of news affecting your hometown.

Sports, village government, school news, volunteers doing great things, the arts - we cover a lot but perhaps we're missing something?

Monday's Question of the Day: What would you like to see more of on Garden City Patch? Let us know in the comments.

I am always looking for things to do with my family and would love for this site to be a "one stop" location to find all the local family events, however your event calendar is always bare. For instance, why don't you list all the good daily events taking place in the library? I have to go to a separate site to find out what's going on there (http://www.eventkeeper.com/code/events.cfm?curOrg=GARDEN). Also the daily events taking place at the Children's Museum, Garden City Rec Dept, Roosevelt Field Mall, Eisenhower Park, etc) are not reflected. Again, I always find my self digging around 10 different sites to find fun family events and feel your event calendar can be greatly enhanced to consolidate everything. Additionally, I highly recommend you also incorporate the surrounding town events in your event calendar as well as (as a parent, I really don't care if an event is taking place in Garden City or Mineola, as long as it is a great event to take my kids to).

Trash on the streets; people putting out their garbage or recyle a day or two before scheduled pick Refresher of Garden Rules or best practices - what makes GC a great place to live
