Passing Storm Leaves Some Without Power in Garden City
Outages reported near Clinton Road Wednesday night.
Severe storms Wednesday left close to 20,000 Long Island Power Authority (LIPA) customers across the region without power.
As of 8:33 p.m., there were 174 active outages across the area, including 18 homes near Clinton Road in Garden City.
LIPA estimates that power will be restored to the Garden City homes by 11:30 p.m.
