The
Garden City Community Church is holding a Veteran's Day Organ Recital
this Sunday, Nov. 11.
The program will include patriotic and
commemorative organ music including Buck: Variations on "The Star
Spangled Banner" and Ives variations on "America." A patriotic sing-a-
long is scheduled.
Free-will offering will be collected to help disaster
relief efforts on Long Island.
Homemade refreshments will be served. The concert is co-sponsored by Nassau, Suffolk and Queens chapters of
the American Guild of Organists. The concert starts at 4 p.m.
The Garden City Community Church is located at the corner of Stewart Avenue and Whitehall Boulevard and is handicap-accessible.
