Garden City Community Church Handbell Choir to Participate in Handbell Festival

Frank Crosio, Music Minister, is pleased to announce that the Garden City Community Church Handbell Choir is participating in the Saint John's Handbell Festival Concert. The Concert features massed ringing and solos with Bell Choirs from eleven churches in Nassau and Suffolk Counties.
This year, the concert will be performed at Gospel Community Church, one block from Saint John's, who is sponsoring the event. All residents are invited to this wonderful concert on Saturday, March 2nd at 7:30 p.m.
The Gospel Community Church allows large concerts with its fairly new five-acre campus.
The guest conductor is Eileen Laurence, a Juilliard School of Music graduate (B.S. and M. S.) who is a published composer and frequent clinician at various handbell festivals, with full accreditation from the Handbell Musicians of America as a Director and Massed Conductor.
There is a reception following the concert, which all residents are invited to enjoy. A free will offering will be taken to benefit the Long Island Council of Churches Food Bank. This event is endorsed by the Handbell Musicians of America.
The concert will be held at Gospel Community Church, which is located at 138 Greeley Avenue in Sayville. For more information please visit www.GCCWS.org or call 631-589-2642.
