Let's Talk Schools: Open House Night for Parents

If you've attended open house at your child's school, or are about to, share thoughts about expectations for the academic year.

Back to school means parents are setting aside evenings to attend their child’s “open house.” There they get to meet teachers and spend some time in their child’s shoes, scurrying from class to class, and learning what material will be covered during the academic year, and how they will be assessed.

Our Garden City School Forum blog provides you a place to share the issues children face in town.

Have you attended an open house at your child’s school yet? Were you able to connect with his or her teachers and learn more about the curriculum? What surprised you most? We'd like to hear about your experiences.
