Board Green Lights Calagero's Expansion

Trustees grant final site plan approval for restaurant owner Ron DiGangi to expand into 923 Franklin Avenue, former home of Garden City Galleries.

The Garden City board of trustees granted final site plan approval to Calagero's owner Ron DiGangi Thursday, allowing the restaurant's expansion into 923 Franklin Avenue, former home of Garden City Galleries.

DiGangi confirmed for Patch his intended plans back in January. On Thursday, with his architect also present, he thanked trustees for their unanimous approval.

In April, the Planning Commission required DiGangi to redesign his plans to  include additional parking for customers.
