When was the last time you held a paintbrush? Grab some friends or the hubby and visit Once Upon a Dish where you’ll have the opportunity to create a one-of-a-kind piece of pottery.

This charming studio nestled on Franklin Avenue is bursting with hundreds of ceramic pieces such as platters and mugs for you to design. Don’t worry if you’re artistically challenged, the Once Upon a Dish staff is happy to provide ideas and tips.

The studio hosts "Adult Night" every Friday evening from 6 to 9 p.m. offering three hours of studio time (regularly $9 an hour) for the price of one plus the cost of pottery. The fee includes instruction, use of all materials in the studio as well as final glazing and firing.

Groups are welcome to order dinner and bring their favorite bottle of wine.
