Human Resources Manager
JFK Airport, Jamaica

  • 5-7 years’ of professional HR experience
  • 3-5 years’ of managerial experience
  • PHR/SPHR Certification required
  • Hospitality / Restaurant experienced preferred
  • Strong, professional, and convincing communication skills – oral and written
  • Strong recruiting, training, leadership and employee relations skills
  • Experience resolving issues and problems and management counseling in a union environment a plus
  • Ability to exceed in a  fast paced, high-volume environment
  • Ability to work with multiple terminal locations and management styles
  • Ability to be flexible and entrepreneurial as needed and establish standards creatively
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • High ethics and integrity; strong work ethic
  • Strong communication and follow up skills
  • Leadership and Management skills to serve as professional role model, initiate and lead new programs and projects, and manage and develop direct reports
  • Ability to pass complete background screening and fingerprint for badge in airports
