Kate Murray To Headline Chamber's Kick Off Luncheon

Hempstead Town supervisor Kate Murray will discuss business development in the Town of Hempstead, including the Lighthouse Project, recent proposals to assist small businesses seeking loans and more.

The Garden City Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce that the Honorable Kate Murray, Hempstead Town supervisor, will serve as the keynote speaker at the chamber's 2010 kick-off luncheon Thursday, Jan. 28, at noon at The Garden City Hotel.

Supervisor Murray will speak on the development of business in Hempstead Town.

The chamber applauds Kate Murray's cautious approach to the Lighthouse Project, along with her innovative efforts to clear the way for the development of homes in East Garden City and elsewhere.

Supervisor Murray will also address the Light Rail Third Track, along with recent proposals by Governor Paterson and Senator Gillibrand  to assist small businesses seeking loans, along with other pertinent issues.
