Madison's Niche Coming to Seventh Street

Boutique shop to replace Things & Stuff.

A new business is hoping to find its "niche" on Seventh Street in Garden City this fall.

Madison's Niche, a boutique shop that offers home decor, women's apparel, jewelry, accessories and more, will replace Things & Stuff at 186 Seventh Street, which officially closed its doors last month.

Owner Karen McAvoy said she's so happy to bring Madison's Niche to Garden City. "I am so excited to be here! Garden City is a great community with wonderful
people and I feel Madison's Niche will offer so much to the town," she said.

With heavy hearts Dean and Teresa Adams said goodbye to its loyal customers. The shop carried everything and anything from invitations and children's clothing to unique items for the home.

Dean and Teresa bought the store in 2009 from former owners Elliot Tulkoff and his business partner, Linda, revamped it and opened in September of that year. They were the third owners.

Madison's Niche is expected to make its debut in the coming weeks. There's another location in Huntington.
