Readers’ Choice: Best Pancakes in Garden City

Where do you go to order a stack of smile-inducing pancakes?

They come topped with fruit, stuffed, buttered up or slathered in syrup. They can make a grown man’s eyes dilate to silver-dollar proportions at the sight of a hot stack.

We’re talking pancakes, of course. Pancakes are that breakfast staple that go great any time of day; Solo or loaded, with eggs or a side of sausage.

Time to weigh in. Garden City Patch is looking to unearth the best pancakes in town. Readers’ Choice is a new weekly feature where we ask you – our readers – to tell us your top picks.

Each Monday we’ll list our nominees - this week it’s pancakes – and ask for your recommendations. Did we leave your go-to spot off the list? Go ahead and add it in comments.

Wednesday we’ll narrow the field, taking your recommendations to put to a vote in the ultimate food fight poll.

Friday we’ll announce our winner.

It's not exactly Garden City (but neither are some of the other contestants)...how about Thomas's Diner on Old Country Road?
suzanne Cummins April 17, 2012 at 09:07 PM
Thomas's diner on Old Country is the best! It's been a family favorite since the '40's.
