As sure as "the sky is blue", Umberto's of New Hyde Park, 633 Jericho Turnpike...has the best pizza - HANDS DOWN! That's what we served at my son's first birthday...40 years ago...and we lived in Richmond Hill at the time - and moved to New Hyde Park very soon after!

Jericho Turnpike is certainly home to the best pizzerias in the area (maybe even the whole tri-state). That being said, Carlino's is the most consistent at turning out an amazing, delicious pie... neopolitan, sicilian, grandma, personal pan - they are all sooo yummy!
