Specialty value retailer Five Below will celebrate a grand opening Friday at its brand new East Garden City location.
The store, located at 1260 Old Country Road in the all new Gallery at Westbury Plaza shopping center, is its second Long Island location. The first, in Levittown, opened in
November 2011.
The store joins others that have recently opened at the shopping center, including Trader Joe's and Bloomingdale's.
T-shirt giveaways, 5 cent hot dogs,
one $100 Five Below shopping spree and other prizes will be available during the grand
opening weekend.
Five Below offers "trend-right, high-quality merchandise"
to teens and pre-teens for as low as a $1 up to $5, including fashion accessories, iPhone and tablet
accessories, video games, toys and games, arts and crafts, and fitness
equipment.
The store is also stocked with candy, decorations
and accessories just in time for Halloween.
Store hours: Friday and Saturday, 10 a.m. – 9 p.m.; Sunday, 11 a.m. – 6 p.m.
