Garden City Chamber to Attend Science Museum Breakfast Reception

The Science Museum of Long Island is conducting a complimentary breakfast reception and museum tour Wednesday, July 31, 8:30 to 10 a.m., at the Plandome-based facility.

The museum has invited members of four Chamber of Commerces to the breakfast: Garden City, Port Washington, Roslyn and Manhasset.

“The focus of the free breakfast reception is to introduce local business leaders to the Science Museum of Long Island as well as provide a platform for great networking,” said Tracey Gittere, president, Legendary Events, the event organizer for the Science Museum’s fall gala at the Garden City Country Club.

“We are also proud to announce that Sean Martens, president of Garden City-based SMPL Technologies and a member of the Garden City Chamber Board of Directors, is the chairman of the major November 14 gala fundraiser called the Big Bang Ball,” Gittere said.

The event is open to the public but space is limited so advance reservations are required. To register for the free July 31 breakfast reception and museum tour, call Legendary Events at 222-0550 or visit www.sciencemuseumbreakfastreception.eventbrite.com.

The Science Museum of Long Island is located at 1526 Plandome Road in Manhasset.
