Advocacy Group Formed to Support Saving St. Paul's

Several Eastern section property owners support an alternative to demolition.

Many people who live in the Eastern section of Garden City are determined to see St. Paul's School remain a vibrant piece of our village tradition and have expressed interest in saving the historic Main Building, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.

"Eastern Property Owners for Saving St. Paul's," an advocacy group to support an alternative to demolition, has been started; Eastern section residents interested in saving St. Paul's for future use are asked to send their names and addresses to Francine Ryan at 45 Locust Street, Garden City, NY 11530 or feryan@ryangroupny.com.

Those residents who want to support saving St. Paul's need to attend the Eastern Property Owners' Association (EPOA) meeting Oct. 12 at the Garden City Public Library, beginning at 7:30 p.m. The Committee to Save St. Paul's will be presenting their plan.
