Battle of the Bands is a Summer Day Camp presented by the Music Academy of Garden City. Kids enrolled will form their own rock and jazz bands, each led by one of our professional instructors, and compete in a concert on Friday night to win the title of "Best Summer Band 2014"!
Details:
-Camp takes place at Shelter Rock Church (626 Plandome Road, Manhasset, NY 11030)
-Ages 9–17
-Monday - Friday • 9am - 3:00pm • Concert Friday Night @ 7pm
-$595 Tuition, lunch not included
-Registration Begins March 2014 • $250 deposit due by March 24th
-Space is limited and registration is done on a first-come, first-served basis
During the week, students will participate in great activities including:
•ROCK & JAZZ BANDS
•STUDIO TIME
•JAM SESSIONS
•INSTRUMENT/VOCAL COACHING
•LUNCH AND RECESS
•CLINICS TAUGHT BY PRO MUSICIANS
•CONCERT FRIDAY NIGHT!
