This special GCPTA meeting is filled with valuable
information for your children, as young as fourth grade. Representatives of
GCMS and GCHS, as well as GCPTA committees will be in attendance. The
presentations are as follows:
- “Internet
Safety” presented by Nassau County ADA, Anne Donnelly, Deputy Chief Organized
Crime and Rackets Bureau. Topics will include what our children need to
understand about: texting, camera phones, social networking, the internet, the
law... and most importantly how we, as parents, can protetct them.
- Recommended
for parents of children in grades 4 though 12 - GCHS
Room M103 (music wing) from 7:30 to 8:30 pm
- “Power
Prep” presented by Dr. Ira Wolf, test preparation expert for college entrance
exams.
- Recommended
for all GCHS parents - GCHS
Room M102 (music wing) in three sessions: 7:00 – 7:30 pm, 7:45 – 8:15 pm, and
8:30 to 9:00 pm
- “Hope
Skills” presented by Bob Wolf, The HOPE® 4 Skills every student
needs for a competitive edge.

for parents with children in grades 8 through 12 - GCHS
