Aging In Place: Solutions for Enhancing Your Home and Quality of Life

No matter how hard we try to avoid it, every person has to address the issue of independent living as they undergo the aging process.  The growing awareness of the benefits of staying in your home as long as possible are widely recognized.

Here in New York, the population aged 65 and over is projected to be almost 3 million, according to the US Department of Health and Human Services.  That is a steady increase, expected to continue, and we are working very hard to offer support services and information to help you stay in your home as long as possible.

On Thursday, March 20, a number of professionals who specialize in a wide variety of areas will address your concerns with financial security, and how to implement the best solution to meet your specific needs.  They will discuss ways to help property owners understand how to achieve safe and functional mobility, discuss how to maintain and enhance your dwelling to reduce the risk of falls, and increase maneuverability, and how to plan financially so that you can stay in your own residence as long as possible.

Deciding to age in place can enhance your home and quality of life, and provide comfort and security.
