Andy Foundation Still Accepting Donations For Fall Sale

Gently used holiday items, fine china, housewares and more are needed.

There's still time to donate items to the Andy Foundation's first annual "Home, Holiday and Harvest" fall yard sale, to be held Sunday, Oct. 6 on the grounds of St. Paul's.

The yard sale will be held between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m.

"We welcome donations of new and gently used holiday items, including Christmas, Thanksgiving, Halloween, St. Patrick’s and indoor or outdoor décor," volunteers said. "We will also accept jewelry, fine china, crystal and silver, housewares, linens, bags, belts, art and mirrors, furs, designer and vintage clothing, bikes, like new toys and holiday themed, cook and like new books.  Small furniture pieces will also be appreciated." 

The sale will also feature a re-gifting table.

Donations can be dropped off Saturday, Oct, 5, between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. at the St. Paul’s Field House. For more info or to schedule an early drop off or pickup call Jill at 375-2631 or Amy at 242-2109 or email jps115@aol.com.

The Andy Foundation was created in 2004 to honor the memory of Garden City resident Andrew Patrick Palmeri. The "by kids-for kids” charity benefits children in need. To date, the foundation has donated more than $700,000 to children in need all over Long Island and just completed a build in Sandy-ravaged Breezy Point and moved a family (of soon to be 6) back into their home.
