The Andy Foundation was created in 2004 to honor the memory of Garden City resident Andrew Patrick Palmeri. The "by kids-for kids” charity benefits children in need. To date, the foundation has donated more than $700,000 to children in need all over Long Island and just completed a build in Sandy-ravaged Breezy Point and moved a family (of soon to be 6) back into their home.
