“GC For A Cure”

The Garden City Teachers’ Association (GCTA) is hosting its third annual “GC For A Cure” on Saturday, April 21, 2012 at the Garden City High School. The timed 5K Run/Walk will take place at 9:00 A.M. and the untimed 1.0 Mile Fun Run/walk will start at 9:15 A.M. All Race/Walk proceeds will benefit Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center (MSKCC).

In addition, Uniting Against Lung Cancer will be hosting Kites for a Cure™, a fun family Kite Fly to support their lung cancer research grant program. There will be awards, raffles, and fun for the entire family.
