West End to Flip Switch on Holiday Season Friday
Tree lighting Dec. 13 on New Hyde Park Road.
The Garden City West End Tree Lighting ceremony kicks off Friday at 6 p.m. in the small park on Plattsdale Road, next to Garden City Dental Associates.
The event will include music and dancing courtesy of Broadway Bound Dance; songs by Gabriella Pulice, the daughter of Ernie, the owner of Gallery Pizza, and more.
Santa Claus is also expected to make a special appearance to help flip the switch on the 2013 holiday season.
