#65: Miniature Golf at Community Park

Big "kids" and little kids have fun with mini golf.

Community Park’s well-designed, newly-constructed (2008) miniature golf area is a delight for all ages.

For a reasonable $3-6, residents and non-residents can have fun playing the game. It has all sorts of twists and turns, complete with a waterfall, “river” and fountain in its “L” shaped course. The miniature golf area has 18 holes that are available seven days a week in the warm weather, from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. into October, weather-permitting.

Every year there are special events such as “Glow in the Dark Night,” which make it the perfect place for parties or to hang out while parents are playing tennis.

Now is the time to get a few more games in before the season ends in the next few weeks.

Parking is available on the south side of the lot at the Garden City Pool or within the Community Park area to the north.

Come back next Tuesday at 10 a.m. for reason #64. Click here if you missed reason #66.
