Retro Fitness Opens Pre - Sales Office in Carle Place/Westbury

CARLE PLACE, N.Y. Retro Fitness, a low-cost, high value concept that gives members an unbelievable, high-energy workout experience, today announced it will open its newest location at 375 Old Country Road in Carle Place, N.Y., right on the border of Westbury and directly across from Best Buy. It will be the first Retro Fitness to open in the area.   Construction is currently underway at the future 14,000-plus square-foot site. The new facility will blend vibrant color schemes into a fun, energetic atmosphere where gym members can comfortably meet their fitness goals with the most advanced workout equipment, a variety of upscale lifestyle amenities, and personal training.     “We opened Retro Fitness to provide the community with a facility that will help them achieve their health and fitness goals at a fraction of the cost, without skimping out on the necessities for a good workout,” said Jim Beaumier, General Manager of Retro Fitness of Carle Place/Westbury, who added that the gym’s location was previously a Bally’s Total Fitness for 32 years and Horizons Fitness for six years prior to that.   Area residents interested in joining Retro Fitness Carle Place/Westbury can stop by the gym’s presale center at 375 Old Country Road in Carle Place to sign up for the $19.99 membership rate while they complete the renovation of the full-service facility that is slated to open by January 2013. The monthly membership fee provides access to a full-collection of top-of-the line Octane Fitness equipment and Life Fitness cardio machines complete with individualized 17-inch LCD monitors that are iPhone and iPad compatible.   “The community was in need of a high-quality fitness center at an affordable monthly fee of only $19.99,” said Allan Neuendorf, Assistant Manager of Retro Fitness Carle Place/Westbury.   “Retro Fitness creates an environment for every member—no matter their fitness level—to achieve success. We look forward to helping the local community stay on top of their health and wellness goals by giving them a clean and friendly environment to come workout without feeling intimidated or overwhelmed.”   Retro Fitness Carle Place/Westbury members can also work up a sweat in the popular RetroTheatre that houses cardio equipment such as treadmills, ellipticals and recumbent bikes, all arranged in a stadium-theatre like setting, and plays movies on a gigantic screen throughout the day. Adding to the excitement, Retro Fitness Carle Place/Westbury will introduce “Life Fitness Synergy 360X,” a total system that provides training opportunities for members of all ability levels with limitless results.   The new gym will also offer a variety of classes in a state-of-the-art studio that allows members to choose from a wide-selection of different classes across ten different genres including Kickboxing, Spinning, Step, Zumba, Pilates, Boot Camp, Hard Core, Raise the Barr, Tabata, Yoga and more. Retro Fitness Carle Place/Westbury presales office is open 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Monday through Friday, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday and 10 p.m. to 4 p.m. on Sunday.
