Accident at Busy Intersection Injures Two

Village police and fire personnel responded to Stewart Avenue and New Hyde Park Road at approximately 2:30 p.m. Sunday.

At least two people were injured Sunday afternoon after a motor vehicle accident at the intersection of Stewart Avenue and New Hyde Park Road.

Village police and firefighters were on the scene along with two Nassau County ambulances around 2:30 p.m.

Two of the injured could be seen on a nearby front lawn awaiting medical attention.
