A box truck traveling southbound on Nassau Boulevard smashed into the Merillon Avenue train trestle of the Long Island Rail Road Thursday afternoon.
A car following too closely then plowed into the rear of the wedged truck and was pinned beneath it.
An ambulance was called to the scene though no serious injuries were reported.
MTA police and officials responded to the incident as Garden City police officers assisted at the scene, diverting all northbound traffic.
