Cops: 12 Cars Stolen Around South Nassau Last Week

Car thefts reported by Nassau County Police precincts this week.

12 cars were stolen in the south shore area last week, reported Nassau County Police.

Cars were taken from commercial and residential areas in Hicksville, Lawrence, Valley Stream, Elmont, Woodmere, Massapequa, and West Hempstead, cops said.

Of the cars stolen, Ford Econoline vans were targeted in Valley Stream and Lawrence within a three-day period, reported police.

  • April 18: AA All County Driving School, Hicksville; tan 2003 Hyundai stolen.
  • April 19: Bernard Street, Lawrence; tan 2001 Nissan stolen.
  • April 19: Valley Stream LIRR; black 2003 Ford Econoline.
  • April 20: Linden Boulevard, Elmont; black 2010 Mercedes Benz CLS5 stolen.
  • April 21: Mill Road and Jedwood Place, Valley Stream; two-toned 2002 Acura RSX stolen.
  • April 21: Parkway Drive, Elmont; black 2003 BMW 235 stolen.
  • April 22: Merrick Road West, Valley Stream; blue 2012 Ford Econoline stolen.
  • April 22: Cambridge Road, Woodmere; black 2013 Toyota Sienna stolen.
  • April 22: Doughty Boulevard, Lawrence; gray 2008 Ford Econoline stolen.
  • April 22: Goshen Street, Elmont; gray 1997 Honda Civic stolen.
  • April 22: Francine Drive North, Massapequa; blue 1999 Nissan Altima stolen.
  • April 23: Nassau Boulevard, West Hempstead; white 2006 Suzuki GSXR 600 stolen.
