New Cassel man resisted arrest after being caught on security camera spray painting doors on a nearby building, cops said.

A New Cassel man faces charges after Nassau County Police said he was caught on camera spray painting graffiti on a building.

Third Precinct officers responded to 163 Post Avenue in Westbury and were told that a man was seen spray painting the side of a building across the street, detectives said.

Responding officers said they found David Reyes, 18, of New Cassel, walking down the street carrying with paint on his hands and a can of spray paint in his jacket pocket. Reyes reportedly struggled with police as they tried to handcuff him.  The incident happened at 10:57 p.m. Friday, police reported.
