Driver Makes Wrong Turn onto Railroad Tracks

No one was injured during the incident Sunday evening.

Village police and firefighters responded to the Clinton Road railroad station just before 8:30 p.m. Sunday after a driver, headed southbound on Clinton Road, made a right turn onto the tracks, according to a witness at the scene.

The vehicle had to be towed from the tracks. Garden City police commissioner Kenneth Jackson reports no criminality. No one was injured during the incident.
