Garden City Man Hit by Car on Franklin Avenue
A 71-year-old Garden City resident was turning left from eastbound Seventh Street onto Franklin Avenue when he struck a 28-year-old Garden City resident walking across the street.
A pedestrian was struck on Franklin Avenue near Seventh Street just after 1 p.m. Monday.
According to police, a 71-year-old Garden City resident was turning left from eastbound Seventh Street onto Franklin Avenue and struck a 28-year-old Garden City resident walking across the street.
The victim suffered a head injury and was transported to a nearby hospital, according to police commissioner Kenneth Jackson.
