Police Still Searching For Citibank Robbery Suspect

Police are still searching for this man, seen on video surveillance footage above, in connection with a bank robbery that occurred in Garden City three days after Christmas.

According to the Nassau County Robbery Squad, a man entered Citibank located at 1050 Franklin Avenue Saturday, Dec. 28, and passed a teller a demand note at approximately 12:32 p.m.

The teller complied and the suspect fled the scene on foot through a rear door, northbound across Eleventh Street into a parking lot, with proceeds.

Police describe the suspect as a male black in his 30s, 5'11" wearing a Baltimore Orioles baseball cap, a black hooded sweatshirt, acid washed blue jeans and white sneakers.

Five employees and one customer were inside the bank at the time of the robbery.

Detectives ask anyone with information regarding this crime to call Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
