Police are searching for a man they say shot two people, one fatally, at an office on South Street in East Garden City.

Cops identified the shooter as Sang Ho Kim, a 6-foot-2 inch Asian man who then fled the scene in a white Honda Pilot with New York plates. The license plate number is FMA-3648.

He was last seen wearing a red shirt with a grey or brown suit jacket, according to a police report.

The public is urged to call 911 if they see Kim, who is considered "armed and dangerous."

Police said Kim walked into Savenergy, an energy efficiency company located in the industrial area near Stewart Avenue, and opened fire. He was a company vender, police said.

The shooting took place this morning in an office complex near Roosevelt Field Mall. Roads were quickly closed and nearby Garden City Schools were placed on lock out in response to the shooting.
