A sports utility vehicle burst into flames on Oak Street near Commercial Avenue in East Garden City around 1 p.m. Friday afternoon, according to a witness at the scene.
The Uniondale Fire Department was dispatched to extinguish the blaze. The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
No injuries were reported.
